Here's a shot from a Sunday afternoon in Blake Garden in Sheung Wong, Hong Kong. I'm with happy with the shot: the lines, the color, and the strange combination of the two characters.
Excellent balance in this, Jens. The 3 tables provide the boundaries and catching the child in mid leap is excellent. The prim lady sitting at the top provides oddity. My only concern is the right hand side of the image is rather empty. Nice shot.
Thanks, I worried about the empty side as well. I also felt that I could have used some more space on the bottom (one of the times were using a zoom lens could have been handy).
When I first saw this shot, I thought the kid had somehow lept a great height to where he is pictured in the frame, but then I realized he's on the stairs. Great shot.
In this blog I seek to bring out the extraordinary in the ordinary. I also highlight events that I have covered. To view more of my work, visit my photostream on flickr or see my portfolio on this site.
